For this 10 pounds I started jogging and logging the food that I ate.  I found http://caloriecount.about.com quite helpful in tracking calories and getting support from other dieters.  At this point I was following the adage “decrease calories and increase exercise” espoused by so many health care advocates.  I remember being hungry a lot and weak fairly often.

The sad part is that I hardly look any different between 230 and 220 pounds.  I remember I felt very discouraged about that.  I wish I knew then what I know now about weight loss.
